Finally iXtreme LT+ for Hitachi drives are available for download. A year in the making now Hitachi drive owners can enjoy the benefits of LT firmware.

Download Confirmed it does work.

<blockquote4e 's iXtreme LT+ in association with Team Jungle & Team Xecuter
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Official release of the iXtreme LT+ for Hitachi (FAT Models)

- Supports AP25 backups for Hitachi 78,79
- Other Hitachis (32,36,40,46,47,58,59) updated to conform to LT spec
- Optimised PFI code to accomodate AP25 SS data
- Defeats current AP25 protection
- Protects console from logging AP25 violation for a period of 3 minutes, turn off/on console on black screen bootup before your 3 minutes is up
- Full disc stealth used by default
- Waveless booting , disc images are assumed to be correct!
- Split-Vid used as default

If booting an AP25 title without AP25 SS on 78 or 79 game will not boot but will still be protected from logging AP25 violation on current dash 12611 for approx 3 minutes
If LT+ encounters an unknown AP25 challenge, game will not boot but console will still be protected from logging AP25 violation on current dash 12611 for approx 3 minutes

AP25 SS are region specific for region locked games

LT+ for slim 9504 and 0225 is progressing, soon.

Thanks go to Team Jungle for their hard work and efforts in the development process.
Thanks also go to Team Xecuter for their generous support to this project.

If you have been running into some issues updating your custom iOS 4 firmware using pwnage tool in restore mode then there is a simple solution. Instead of putting your phone in DFU mode just do a normal restore directly from itunes while the phone is still on. While holding down the Shift/or Option (Mac) key click restore. This will allow you to search for your custom firmware and restore. Once its complete you will have your phone on the new iOS 4. Remember not to place your phone in DFU mode. Pwnage tool is a tool created only for the mac. But once the firmware is created it can be used on a PC for restoring purposes.

While it looks like every single other drive has gotten or is getting a version of iXtreme’s LT firmware it appears as though good old hitachi drive owners will have to wait a little while longer. Either they will remain dead last to receive the coveted firmware or not receive it at all. When work first began on these firmwares it was mentioned that all drives would be getting LT, as mentioned on TeamJungle’s twitter page

iXtreme LT in dev (for all drives) – minimal patching, all aspects of fw indistinguishable from orig No ETA!

7 Months later it would seem as though Hitachi has yet to even give word if its still being worked on. My opinion, move on to the other consoles where LT is supported and don’t get your hopes up for a Hitachi LT. Maybe by the end of the year.

What would make someone flash their perfectly fine router with software that’s created from third party sources. How will you know this stuff will be better than what’s already installed stock, or worse what if it bricks your hardware. Well to tell you the truth the software included on most routers are fairly basic standard stuff. In some cases the standard stuff can cause more issues then one would expect. So dont be stuck with this lackluster firmware support where they make updates maybe once a year hoping you will buy their new model instead of fixing the old one. Well dd-wrt is a third party firmware that can be flashed to specific hardware in order to bring additional functionality not initially intended for by the manufacturer. For example bridge/repeater support and additional security measures. This makes your old cheap router into a more expensive networking powerhouse. My initial impressions have me highly impressed. It has so many features It will take me a week to get to them all. It includes a bundle of addons compared to the original linksys software.

Hook your router directly to your computer for this. Do this the same way you would if you had the official firmware. I would recommend not uploading it with wifi, just to be on the safe side. I didnt change anything to dynamic to static I simply left it dynamic.

Ok now in my case I have a Linksys WRT54G v2.2. When attempting this please make sure that you know what model of router you have. It can be a bit confusing navigating there site but the do have a wiki and faq. If you dont have a compatible router I honestly cant say anything good will come of it. Make sure you look at the compatibility list for supported devices . I have attached below a video of the procedure which in my case and model was as easy as an official update.

Yeah I know this is actually pretty old news but since 3.95GEN is out many people need to know how to get on a M33 firmware so here is a start because you need to be on atleast 3.71 M33 to install the new 3.95 GEN. I’m actually going to wait till maybe some add on is released for this firmware before I actually jump on the bandwagon. I don’t see any reason right now for me to upgrade since nothing that new as been introduced. There is an HD link of the video if you have problems looking at it or it seems blurry.
