Analysts believe that this is because apple is preparing for the inevitable 3G iPhone. I say bring it on just don’t bring it on with any new types of rate plan that would make it more expensive. I mean its a fortune as it is, yeah AT&T its too much money and a small about of minutes. Another possible reason for the shortage could be apple doesn’t want to make it easy for people who unlock them and sell them on eBay for an exorbitant price. Maybe new security measures could be put in place just in time for the new 2.0 firmware.
