Attention all wayward satellites the US NAVY and NASA has got your number. America showing off a bit of its power destroyed a satellite which has lost control. This satellite was headed for earth and could have potentially sent us some dangerous chemicals. There was video footage released of the PWNage taking place with the modified rocket lifting off from near by vessel USS Lake Erie. Following with a nice explosion. The Navy claims there is no remaining piece bigger then a football and that they are currently tracking all the pieces of satellite debris. Russia and China are concerned over this matter. Russia stating concern that this is an opportunity for the US to test long range missile launch capabilities. (more…)
A Playstation Portable blows up in a students pocket burning a hole through his pants. The student suffered minor burns to his leg. What could have caused such an over heating in this device allowing it to explode. This is yet undetermined, Police are still investigating. While Sony says it is an isolated occurrence, this wouldn’t be the first time a Sony product with malfunction battery exploded. Hmmm reminds me of a certain laptop incident read here and here too.
Well everyone knew that apple would eventually be coming out with new iphones and ipod touch with higher capacity storage. Read here. But they have’nt apparently been listening to all of the clamoring from geeks and nerds alike for a 3G iphone. Maybe its just not possible to cram that much technology into this thing with out some consequences such as terrible battery life. Now I do personally know what terrible battery life is like on an iphone. On my unlocked iphone with BSD Subsystem installed I can honestly say that I would have to charge it mid day. That is with basic usage, some phone calls here, some internet use there. With that said I am not too sure this is that much of an upgrade. So apple take your time and work on a more potent battery which can handle 3g and then come out with a new model.
In New Mario Bros for the Nintendo DS here is an old Super Mario bros trick that will score you infinite lives. Or at least 99. I remembered this move from the original SMB for the NES. In world 2-3 the desert world what you have to do is trap a turtle on the stairs and continue to stop the crap out of him to get some more lives. This will take a lot of button pressing but it will be worth it. This takes some good timing but when once done correctly it will look like the above movie.
